Quotes

We could do something with a graphic and some quotes of famous people. Suitable quotes might be:

• "Freedom hath a thousand charms to show, That slaves however contented never know." - Cowper
• "For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others." - Nelson Mandela, S. African black civil rights leader (1918 - )
• "Nobody can give you freedom. Nobody can give you equality or justice or anything. If you're a man, you take it." - Malcolm X, Malcolm X Speaks (1965), US black nationalist leader (1925 - 1965)
• "Freedom is nothing but a chance to be better." - Albert Camus, French author and philosopher (1913 - 1960)
• "What is freedom? Freedom is the right to choose: the right to create for oneself the alternatives of choice." - Archibald Macleish, American poet (1892 - 1982)
• "Freedom is the right to live as we wish." - Epictetus, Greek philosopher (55 - 135)

Although, quotes from individuals such as Cowper (18th century poet) would have fewer connotations with other movements.

Colours

Black sells well, but is fugly and makes our logo look even worse. Would prefer lighter colours (white/sand), but is design dependent. White on black/blue and black/navy on sand sounds appealing. Royal blue would also suit us, but has same problems as black. Mix of tee colours may affect price...
